pector went home I did not pay money for him. I paid him
again on his return. From the time of his return up to the
18th. of June I paid the money. I cannot remember when he
came back. I remember that it was after the Plague that he
left for England. I paid money for the Inspector for several
months before he went home. I cannot remember for how many
months I paid money for him after his return.
The money was paid for the Inspector so as
avoid his arresting the gambling house.
The gambling house at Wa Lane was opened in
the year of the Great Plague. It was in the 6th, moon of the
plaque year,
I have not kept any gambling house previous
to the one in Wa Lane.
